Welcome to the ORIGINAL source for masculine fitness, whether it be working out at the gym, learning how to lose weight in the long term, general health (as in not loading yourself up with steroids and fucking yourself over, but also general health) or self development. I want this site to be somewhere you can come to improve yourself in these main areas, and when I say “Masculine Fitness” I think of it as not just physical fitness, but the other things i’m talking about here too.
When it comes to weight loss, of course it’s important to have a good exercise program and way of eating. But it goes deeper than that. Some people find they are unable to take the right actions to lose weight even though they know exactly what to do. Which is why it’s most important to deal with the emotional aspect of weight loss, the reasons why you’re holding onto stress that is making you eat and keeping you overweight.
Dealing with those things is the first important step. Then after that you’ll want effective ways of transforming your eating and learn what to eat for the best results, and effective ways of working out.
Personally I believe that the gym is a very valuable place for any man, and that putting on a good amount of muscle is something almost every man should do. Some might not be interested, and want to be small and skinny.. but that just isn’t something I understand or support.
The last thing i’ve found is that in my journey of losing a significant amount of weight, that I didn’t necessarily feel how I was hoping to about myself. Yes I definately feel alot better, have more energy, look better. But I found that there is still insecurities at the deeper level that i’ve had to work on dealing with in other ways, hence the Self Development part. I still have a long way to go and am struggling with it at times, but I have found some very effective tools that I will present to you after trying a whole lot of things.
I’ve tried some weird and out there things, some i’ve continued longer, some i’ve stopped. Some of them might still seem a bit ‘out there’ still, but there is a few that i’ve kept going back to and I will share them here.
As a preface, i’m still working on these areas and struggling at times. I’m definately not at the place I want to be, i’m not some type of ‘guru’ or ‘expert’, in fact alot of you might be further along than I am. But I have found effective tools and methods that have helped me and I wish to share them with others.
